SAP is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software that contains many applications used for warehousing, shipping, goods tracking, as well as in the automotive and chemical industry.
SATO provides the following solutions for users to print from SAP to SATO printers:

SAPScript with ITF Upload Method

SmartForms with SBPL Include Method

Customers of SATO have been using this method to print to SATO printers from SmartForms. The projects have been successfully rolled up as global solutions worldwide. This solution allows better control over the printing results and supports Unicode, multi-lingua printing.

How can this be done?
Printing SmartForms with SWIN Device Type (Print as graphics)

SWIN is a generic, device-independent device type for Microsoft Windows printers. When you create a device definition for a Microsoft Windows printer in the SAP System, you can use the generic Microsoft Windows device type SWIN instead of the printer-specific device type (such as HPLJ4). You can use SWIN as a device type for all printers for which a driver is installed in the Microsoft Windows system.

Barocde, Text (including non-English characters) and graphics are all printable to ALL SATO printers because SATO printer drivers are Microsoft Windows printers.
