SATO Label GalleryTM New Version LG3.2 Offers Expanded Design Possibilities
Singapore, February 25, 2009 – SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions announced the launch of a new version of its SATO Label Gallery™ software, LG3.2.
Packed with exciting new features, the LG3.2 offers users additional label design options making label design and management more convenient than ever. Enhancements range from native support for MySQL database without the need for additional drivers; reprint functionality that enables users to reprint labels to different printers; to printer status enhancements and various improved design features such as support for curved text. A new feature of LG3.2 is the support of images captured from webcams and scanners. This is a particularly useful solution in the healthcare industry, enabling hospital administration personnel to register patients and print out ID tags or wristbands that include a patient’s photograph, easily and quickly. Other improved design features include support for guidelines, particularly useful when designing compliance labels that require precise, fixed placement of elements in label designs.
The SATO Label Gallery™ comes in several editions - Free, Easy, Plus/TruePro, TruePro Network and Pocket LG. With the launch of LG3.2, all other Label Gallery editions will also come with enhanced features.
“We have made enhancements to the LG3.2 with end users in mind, looking to provide best-value solutions that will result in cost-saving and efficiency for our customers. SATO is strongly committed to delivering better products and solutions that meet rapidly changing market dynamics faster than its competitors,” said Kaz Matsuyama, Managing Director of SATO International.
