SATO Introduces the New Global Look

Singapore, May 3, 2002. Barcode SATO International is pleased to announce its new global look. The new SATO "look" not only features a new corporate logo but also a new icon. This new icon "plays" with the visual impact of peeling off a top layer to reveal the barcode underneath.

"This is what SATO is about - quality barcoding solutions. If you were to look deeper into our organisation, you will find that all our employees are not only very committed but also very much focused in our vision towards elevating the SATO brand to the next level," said Mr. Waki, Managing Director, Barcode SATO International.

"From a more fundamental standpoint, we are trying to create a stronger brand identity. There are some who do not know us; a reader who sees the SATO logo may not know how we can contribute our "DCS & Labelling" solutions to him. However, by including this new peel-off icon, the reader would immediately know what SATO is about," added Mr. Waki.

The new global look spells SATO's first step towards its Global Branding exercise which has been executed throughout SATO organisations, from sales department and even right up to production department.
