How does Label
Gallery Network differs from Label Gallery TruePro? |
| |
Both editions incorporate the same
functionality and the same additional modules (GalleryForm,
GalleryWatch, GalleryData, GalleryMemMaster). The Network
edition, however, has some characteristics of its own:
• |
The application is installed to the server; workstations
can use shortcuts to application or local copy |
• |
Users share default file directory, user list
and printing log |
• |
Requires non-stop file access to the network
server |
• |
Workstation installation
is done from the server in the easiest and fastest
way |
• |
Protected by unique registration number instead
of the hardware key |
• |
Simplified administration tasks for large-scale
installations |
• |
The major advantage of Network edition is that
it offers very attractive pricing policy for more
users |

How can I integrate
label-printing process into company's ERP application?
|
| |
You can design labels in a user-friendly
environment and use Label Gallery's special "Export
to SAP R/3" option. Exported file is uploaded to
the SAP R/3 system and printed on demand directly from
the SAP R/3, without Label Gallery or any additional software
being installed. All other ERP systems can use numerous
other Label Gallery's connectivity options, including
data passing by means of text files, direct programming,
or automatic printing by means of GalleryWatch synchronisation
module. |
| 13. |
How can I make
label printing suitable for inexperienced print operators?
|
| |
Although we are proud of Label Gallery
features superior technical features, SATO is aware that
there are many users who do not want to use complicated
software (full of different options and icons) for daily
label printing. Since we want to make label printing as
simple as possible, Label Gallery TruePro includes a unique
GalleryForm module used for design of custom printing
forms. Using built-in Wizards and intuitive mouse design,
you can create a custom label printing application. Since
no programming experience is required, you will be able
to pass over from label design to a complete personalized
label printing solution in just a few minutes. The result
will be a user-friendly application, which will save your
time and your money spent on the training. |
